 Over the past forty years, I have dedicated myself entirely to performative poetry, from my early years in Bologna and Bolzano, through to Florence, London, and now Cornwall. Despite having amassed an enormous amount of material, I have never published any of my work as I have always found the publishing world difficult to approach.

My poetry is now collected in four unpublished works: "Bolognese Poems," "Florentine Poems," "London Poems," and "Verso Isole - Toward Islands," which contains a selection of current works written about or to islands. These works showcase the various poetic typologies I deal with, resulting from my passionate search for an almost unbridled use of language and the subtleties of psychological and spiritual states, which may be universal.

In my poetry, I often prioritize sound over meaning, using alliterative semantic amalgams to surprise and distract my reader/audience, and bring visionary ideas to light. Additionally, I often use metaphor not just to create images but as the main subject of my poems. This allows me to explore the implications and nuances of the metaphor in more depth, creating a richer and more complex reading experience for the reader, despite the risk of entering into a form of dark hermeticism.

In addition to my literary activity, I work as a multidisciplinary artist under the pseudonym Dhyano. My approach to poetry is the same as my approach to visual and sound art, entirely focused on engaging with the abstract aspect of reality.

 LIBERASSANGE - SET ASSANGE FREE
​

Everybody is in jail until Assange is in jail! This poem has been written, filmed and edited as response to the DiEM Voice call for artists 'Raise Your Voice for Assange.

The symbolic location of the Dynamite Factory in Lelant, Penwith Cornwall, has been chosen for its powerful eerie way to be a non-building, a place inside and outside at the same time.

​The choice of the Italian language came natural for the interesting sound of the language in the portmanteau word liberassange. This poem is a tribute to all journalists that are now in jail only because they have decided to speak the truth.
