...when poetry gains in translation.
Poetry Performance and visuals interwoven with ambient music and sound art on silent-disco headphones.
The show has being described by the local press as "profoundly rich and absorbing" and "stunningly original and brilliant" (The Cornishman) highlighting "its uniquely personal interpretation of sounds within words played around with the ambiguity of communication [...] His wordsmithery, gesticular delivery, thick accent, playfulness and unadulterated zaniness, progressed deeper and deeper, went mental then eased us back out of it.
Dhyano is taking this show bookings welcome for Autumn/winter 2018 and either in UK and abroad . Festivals, Art Centres and small and medium size Theatres (find contacts here).
Living 20 years in UK have transformed my creative production and made it anglophone. This was an experimental Poetry Performance Show, with ambient music and original sound art on a background of projected visuals. The audience was provided with a wireless headset in order to enjoy a full auditory experience.
I've selected a series of poems among those that I consider 'gaining in translation', because I think they sound better when translated into English.
The show will tour UK in Autumn 2018. If you are in contact with festivals, art centres or small theatres that could host the show please get in touch. read the local press review
