The Sound Of The Shore with Live Piano and Flute impro -
Theatre Upstairs St Ives |
I explain what my performances are about in my artistic statement , where I describe my idea of Multisensory Hypertext and its potential in future digital publishing.
Improvisation is very much my way to approach the stage. However, like in the Commedia dell'Arte and experimental theatre, improvising is based on strong technical preparation, particularly when one has to interact with different media. It's not easy to define my shows because they are Poetry Performance, Comedy and Live Art combined with sound, video and photography Art. For example DHYANGLOPHONE was a sort of live radio show with the audience on headphones listening to poetry while watching video art an photography, in a sort of immersive relaxing experience. See images and read a comprehensive list of shows in my bio I even have a multimedia approach in theatre directing, has I've demonstrated with GRAPHITE & Co. |
